Pierce led the way for the C’s with 20 points, four rebounds and six assists. Kevin Garnett added 13 points for the C’s and hit a clutch jumper with 1:04 left. Brandon Bass added 13 points and six rebounds off the bench and Jermaine O’Neal had 12 points and two blocks.
